What is
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with pellets is a natural alternative to synthetic hormone injections.

The structure of the hormone (testosterone, estrogen or both) is matched to the individual patient’s needs based on a comprehensive laboratory panel prior to pellet insertion.

How
Does It Work

Composed of either estradiol or testosterone, bioidentical hormone pellets are about the size of a grain of rice. During a sterile procedure, the practitioner applies a local anesthetic, makes a small incision, and inserts the pellets into the fatty tissue under the skin. Typically in the flank or upper buttocks. The small incision is then closed without any need for stitches. The procedure takes apx 15-20 minutes, mostly for the numbing agent to work effectively.

The pellets release the calibrated hormones into the bloodstream on a steady basis. There is no downtime and return to work same day!

On average the pellets last 5-6 months for men, and 3-4 months for women.
